· By Syrian Reconstruction Channels Team
Today, our team, sent to Syria, returned to Germany, carrying with them many fruitful partnerships achieved during the visit. Among the most prominent is the government partnership with the Damascus Governorate and several ministries, which will have tangible impacts through:
- Welcoming delegations from specialized groups to work on the ground to rehabilitate staff and provide technical support.
- Offering facilitation for projects proposed by our teams, through discussions with the relevant ministries to ensure their implementation according to a clear and sustainable vision.
In addition to government cooperation, we succeeded in establishing partnerships with effective organizations on the ground, notably the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) and the Syrian Civil Defence (White Helmets). These partnerships will practically begin this month, with joint coordination to activate our projects on the ground. These organizations will also be involved in our future meetings to establish a clear working mechanism and invite everyone to participate effectively.
In the context of enhancing our international presence, our team attended the Berlin Syrian-German Gathering, where the initiative was introduced and other like-minded initiatives were attracted, aiming to collaborate on reconstruction projects that have already taken their first steps.
Our team will also participate in the Turkish-Syrian Businessmen’s Conference in Gaziantep, organized under the patronage of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This conference aims to lay the foundation for rebuilding Syria’s industrial and commercial infrastructure, presenting a great opportunity for urban development projects, which we aim to benefit from in partnership with economic actors.
We are committed to maintaining this momentum, and we will keep you updated on all developments, urging everyone to participate actively in this critical stage of Syria's reconstruction.
