Revolutionary Media

The session took place yesterday in Hamburg and featured prominent Syrian media figures, including:

• Hadi Al-Abdallah – Journalist

• Mohammad Al-Faisal – Journalist

• Journalists based outside Syria: Saeed Saeed and Abdul Karim Al-Bayoush

• Baraa Al-Razzouk – Syrian Media Professional

• Suleiman Al-Tadmari – Investigative Journalist

The session also included representatives of the Reconstruction Channels of Syria Initiative:

• Mohammad Nour Al-Dughaim – Chairman of the Board

• Lateen Al-Saho – Media Office Director

• Mohammad Al-Mohammad and Ghazwan Assaf – Ambassadors of the Initiative

In addition to a number of activists and members of the Syrian diaspora in Germany.

The discussion addressed three main themes:

• The state of Syrian media from the outbreak of the revolution until today

• Highlighting the experiences of Syrian journalists in Europe and their role in conveying the truth to global public opinion

• The potential role of Syrian capacities in Germany in contributing to the reconstruction phase through practical, community-based, and effective media channels

During the session, journalist Hadi Al-Abdallah received a special and emotional tribute from young Hadi Al-Abdallah Jr.

The child, born while Hadi Al-Abdallah was battling severe injuries and pain, traveled from southern to northern Germany to meet him face to face and say: “You are my role model.”

The event concluded with an open discussion marked by strong audience engagement, insightful questions, and contributions that enriched the dialogue and deepened the conversation about Syria’s reconstruction prospects.
